Chocolate Experiment


Salam readers...

To make chocolate ganache dulu diya selalu beli chocolate masakan kat bagus / yen ... rasenye so-so jelah.. thats why diya mmg tak suke mkn chocolate cake yg diya buat sndr...bole tak?? huhu... 
Tp mase tu tak reti sgt psl chocolate2 ni... n everytime makan chocolate indulgence kat secret recipes mesti tertny2 mcmne lah die org buat chocolate ganache yg sgt lah delicious nih...

So , yesterday , i Google out about it and come out with 3 type of chocolate yg diya nk buat experiment :

1. Couverture chocolate - Price is a lit bit higher, but taste is very delicious. Choc ni brand yg diya buat experiment is Sicao chocolate. 2.5kg RM50

2. Compound Chocolate - Choc ni yg byk jual kat bagus / yen , kalo yg premium sikit mcm beryl's , selbourne , tulip , le bourne... so diya beli le bourne since byk review ckp yg le bourne taste plg sedap antara byk2 compound choc yg ade..price around RM14 - 17 for 1kg

3. Button Chocolate - yg ni bentuk die bulat2... harge die for 500gm around rm8.90 mcm tuh..

So what is the difference between those 3 chocolate..well according to google

Couverture chocolate are made from chocolate liquor which is blended with extra cocoa butter, sugar and flavorings  This chocolate must be tempered.
Compound chocolate  is made from combining cocoa with vegetable fat as a replacement for cocoa butter.Is well suited for tropical climate because its more heat-resistant and easy to handle.
As for button chocolate ...i not really sure but i guess maybe its kinda couverture type cz its taste good tho..


Semalam diya beli Button n Le bourne chocolate je n dah try button chocolate saje...oh ye and the best thing is all these type of chocolate you can get it from Pandan Sek 7..wohaaa dekat di rumah saja..

So tonight diya akan try Le Bourne chocolate pulak n maybe next week the Sicao pulak..

Rainbow oh rainbow

Its his bday...and i bake something special for him..hihihi

Well..sebab dah ramai sgt org wat rainbow cake, so diya pon nk la wat gak kan...

So kenala tgu any special occasion , so happen bday sang suami plak ...

So this is my 1st time i bake rainbow cake..

Im using buttermilk cake since i really2 in love with the taste of buttermilk...and frosting die i just use swedish meringue creme... 1st time gak wat creme tu... for my personal opinion , i don't really like the frosting since i am really a sweet tooth pny type... hehehe...but my husband seems enjoying the creme sebab tak manis sgt...

So here we go, gambar cake n gamba2 celebration ari2...hihi

The bday cake

Owh neo pon ade cz die pon celebrate bday die gak..7th october...die dah 4 taun dah skrg...hehehe...


So here is the recipe part...

For rainbow cake
Bahan A
170gm Butter
300gm Sugar
3 Biji telur gred A

Bahan B
2 cawan tepung ( multipurpose / self raising)
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teasponn Soda bikarbonat

Bahan C
1 cawan buttermilk ( blh substitute with 1 cup of milk n 1tablespoon vinegar)

Cara2
1. Pukul Bahan A dlm mixer smp sebati
2. Gaul2 kan bahan B
3. Masuk kan bahan B dalam Bahan A n gaul selang seli ngan Bahan C , start with Bahan B n End with Bahan B gak ( Tepung -> susu -> tepung -> susu -> tepung )
4.  Bahagikan adunan pada 6 n ltk lah pewarna ape2 yg kite suke pada 6 adunan tu
5.Bakar stp satu adunan 12min 180c

Swedish Meringue Creme
 4 biji telur putih
200gm Gula
340gm Butter

1. Putih telur + Gula , masak double boiler lebih kurang 10min
2. dah masak kite pukul dlm mixer smp lah die stiff peak
3. campur kan sikit2 butter dlm adunan putih telur

Ok tu je...after this Diya nk pakai creme cheese plak lah utk frosting die...sedap la sket ye tak...hehe...

Lemon Icebox Pie

Salam...

Bestnye menaip sambil dgr lagu Celine Dion ni...hehe

Hari ni Diya nk kongsi  resipi yg Diya dpt kat C703 food network...
very the easy n very the sedap...x yah pki oven utk dibakar pon...
Kalo ikut resipi asalnye kat sini sumenye pki oz utk measure...so Diya taip blk  dlm  measurement yg biase diya buat la eh...n ade sikit perubahan yg Diya wat..

cekidaud resipi kat bwh...

Bahan Pie
250gm Cream Cheese
1 tin susu pekat
1/4 lemon juice ( Diya wat ikut resipi asal..tp masamnye smp org2 umah ni wat muke time mkn huhu)
1 sudu besar lemon zest
1 sudu besar vanilla essen
setitik color yellow lemon (Kalo xnk letak pon xpe)

Bahan Biskut base
100gm biskut digestive
15gm / 1 sudu besar gula halus
50g m butter

Cara - Cara
Step 1 : Blend biskut digestive
Step 2 : Campur sume bahan biskut gaul2 kan n ratakan atas pan(8")  or dlm cawan satu2
Step 3: Bakar dlm oven 180c selama 10minit (die mmg xkan masak sgt but its ok)
Step 4: Campur sume bahan pie and mix sampai lah die jadi macam pekat2 sket
Step 5: Kuarkan biskut base yg dah dibakar td n letak bahan pie yg dah di mix tu
Step 6 : Sejuk kan overnight dlm freezer

Yang coklat2 tu diya saje titik kan coklat hershey pas2 wat bentuk love2( tp x jadi sgt) huhu..
Diya suggest kalo nk wat, letak dlm cawan satu2 or bekas kecik2 cz nk mengangkatnye susah betul since pie 2 very wobble..texture die mcm icing cake..kalo letak dlm bekas kecik2 senang nk mkn n xyah potong2..hehe..

Tiramisu utk ibu mertua ku...

Salams...

Yesterday was my mother in law b'day...
So i decided to do Tiramisu cake...actually this is the 2nd time I'm doing tiramisu..

The 1st attempt was successful but the sponge cake is a little bit dry...

The 2 nd attempt was successful also just the coffee taste is not enough..owh n this time I'm using moist choc cake as the cake..so its taste like choc cake but still delicious...(according to them lar) hehehe...but still i prefer the coffee taste then choc taste..maybe next time i just use coffee cake as the cake...kan senang..hehe


My Tiramisu
As you can see , I used the lady finger which i brought from D'Manis (seksyen 13)  as side decoration...

Actually, people will use the lady finger to make tiramisu, but i dont really like the taste of ready made lady finger...

And before i forget i get the tiramisu recipe from here .. thanks miss blogger  for the great recipe :)

Flour less Cake / Chocolate Espresso

Salam..

Hari ni Diya nk cerite pasal flour less cake atau dlm bahasa melayunye cake tanpa tepung..hihi
actually cake ni dari kecik2 dulu diya dh biase panggil chocolate espresso but recently mase mkn kat serai ari2 diya ternampak cake ni..npk mcm kenal, ermm mungkin ni adalah name lain bg chocolate espresso..

So macamne diya tau cake nye adalah same?? Cz texture & color die same lah...hehe..boleh x jwb cam2..

Mmg betul kite dpt bezakan texture cake tu ade tepung or tak, and name die plak flour less , mmg diya wat chocolate espresso pon x pakai tepung... so 99% yakin tulah cakenye..

Di sebabkan diya dah tau wat cakenye so diya pon malas lah nk beli...1 slice RM14 kottt...

Bile diya google, resepi pon same flour less & chocolate espresso , so yakin 100% same...hihi

Bile blk teringin nk makan so diya pon buat lah cake tu...mase diya kecik2 dulu, mama selalu sgt buat cake ni smp semua org pon x lalu nk mkn...skrg ni je hangat blk...huhu

Cake ni mmg agak mahal cz mengunakan bahan2 yg mahal seperti chocolate bar & serbuk badam.. dah jadi dapat pon cenonit je..huhu

Ok ni gamba chocolate espresso diya , siap dah tukar2 sikit bahan die cz diya masuk kan sekali walnut...br feel bile makan...hehehe.. so njoy the picture ye...hihihi

Class

Salam...

Diya dpt byk sgt phone call, Sms & emails tny psl bile diya nk wat class

Actually bkn x nk wat , but diya mmg bz sgt skrg ni..every weekends mesti ade hal, if xde hal diya mesti blk umah mak mertua or johor...so mcmne diya nk wat class..sori sgt2..

So skrg ni diya hanya akan bkk class utk group je...means if 1 class tu diya required ade 10 org bile uolls sume dah dpt kumpul 10 , tetapkan date ( sabtu je ye ) , jelaskan full payment ,  baru diya akan bkk class...
bkn ape, kdg2 tu penat diya siapkn brg2 ..  ckp nk dtg tp x dtg pownn...huhu

Ok , ni requirement min no class yg dah cukup org diya blh bkk

Ok, for personal class tu kan, diya state gaklah pricenye cz ade gak org tny..personal class blh dibuat on site or in house tp if on site akan dikene charge transportation lah, then sume equipment haruslah tersedia..if nk diya belikan brg akan ade charge lain plak...

Tu saja diya nk gitau wat masa ni..but if diya ade free date diya akan bkk class mcm dulu k

Pavlova

Salam..

Last weekend diya teringin sgt2 nk mkn pavlova..so diya pon ajaklah husband gi mkn kat serai..
Last2 dpt lah diya mkn pavlova kat serai nih...
Ni gamba lame time mkn ngan lembut..tu tgn die..hihi

Sedap sgt2...1 slice is RM14.20, disebab kan sedap maka ku order juga..huhu..then ckp kat husband sedapnye lahhh pavlova nih...pastu husband reply blk " sayang buatlah..kalau syg wat mesti jadi"..

Di sebabkan husband tercinta dh ckp cam2 maka diya pon google2 lah resepi pavlova ni , campur aduk ngan style & method membuat macaroon maka terhasil lah DiyaLova Pavlova kat bwh ni..hehe..jeng..jeng..jeng

kikikiki...husband plak ckp.."Sedapnyeeeee , mkn xde krimnye pon sedap" hehehe... Kembang idung diya gak la time tu...hehe

So next project diya nk try wat chocolate pavlova plak lah...cz ari2 tgk kat TLC mcm sedap giler...hihihi...

Diya Cupcake masih lg beroperasi lg..hehe..ramai yg tny diya ni still active lg ke x..

Diya still active just order dah kene limit2 since dah ade husband khan...hehhe

But just msg je diya..insyallah if batery hp diya x abes and hp diya ade kat sblh diya , diya akan reply msg2 uolls..

Bknnye diya x nk reply tau..but seriously, kdg2 diya ade ade kat sec 7, kadang2 ade kat sec 11, kadang2 ade kat pasir gudang plak...hp plak 1 hari batery dah abis...huhu...n kdg2 tu uolss ske msg mlm2 tau...
if uolss nk tau, diya ni ade penyakit bile msg berbunyik diya akan bgn & tgk sambil mamai2 then tido blk..the next morning diya mesti dah terlupe ade msg..bile ade org lain msg br lah diya perasan msg smlm huhu...sowieeee

okeh lah..until then..diya de byk bende nk cite n perancangan diya nk memimprove kan blog diya cupcake nih..InsyAllah taun 2012 ni diya nk active berbloging & take serious of my business nih..
